Technical Account manager

Responsibilities 

  • He/She will become familiar with the Account Management role. The mid-term goal (after a few months) is to be an Account Manager working independently with clients and supporting them and their teams. 
  • He/She works semi-independently for the first months, managing project tasks, team, timeline, deliverables, quality. 
  •  He/She will have some Stakeholder (prospects, clients) interactions. The mid-term goal (after a few months) is to get him/her working with clients and teams autonomously. 
  • He/She will learn how to create technical and client-facing proposals, using different templates, and improving them, bringing new exceptional ideas. 
  • He/She will be developing the ability to manage multiple small to midsi]e projects simultaneously. (Content-Switching). 
  •  He/She will understand the implicates behind processes for getting approvals & commitment from stakeholders on timeline, deliverables, and assumptions. 
  •  He/She will follow up with clients on deliverable milestones and escalate issues to account managers or supervisors if impacting timeline, cost, or quality. 
  • Responsible for keeping track of the schedule, ensuring that hours spent on projects are reasonable and aligned with the original proposal (Using Agile frameworks tools & techniques) 
  • Participates in project daily and weekly review meetings and keeps the management team appraised with the project¶s status. 
  •  Willingness to learn new methods that will make the team perform efficiently Strong Agile practitioner. 
  • Developing the ability for tracking the projects burn rates (hours, budget) 
  • Developing the mindset to be a processes advocate within the team 
  • Develop the ability to detect the upselling potentials with clients. 


  • Qualifications 
  • 1 to 2+ years of experience with client-facing assignments, supporting clients 
  • 1a2+ years managing teams 
  • Detail-oriented with an orientation to quality assurance 
  • 5+ years of technology industry experience 
  • 3+ years of experience using Agile frameworks at work (beyond the role) 
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration 
  •  Some experience gathering estimates 

[Nice to have] 

  • Some experience working with remote team members 
  • Preference for deadline-driven work that requires multi-tasking 
  • The notion about web/mobile technologies and solutions, plus a tendency to learn something about it 
  • Some previous contact with any of the project management tools like JIRA, Trello, Smartsheet, and productivity software like Google documents, Microsoft Office
